Curation
How we curate ideas
Transparency for founders, students, and partners: what an idea page is, what we index, and how tools like Match Pro use the catalog.

What an idea page is
Each entry is a structured brief — problem, target user, proposed solution, industries, capital/time tags, technical depth, and (when available) founder notes, research briefs, or roadmaps. It is a decision aid, not a guarantee of market demand.
Quality bar
- Prefer structure over raw volume — fixed fields so pages are comparable.
- Flagship and research-platform entries carry deeper briefs, sources, or scorecards when available.
- Founder notes are written to avoid clone templates: unique angle, risks, distribution bottleneck, and practical take.
Thin-page policy
Secondary angles that restate the same community theme (for example validation-path or distribution-approach mirrors) stay readable on-site but are noindexed and omitted from the sitemap so search engines focus on primary idea and guide pages.
Ongoing maintenance
We update catalog stats, market packs for localized hubs, blog guides, and product tools (Match Pro saves, filters, scoring). Dates on this page and major hubs reflect curation — not a frozen dump.
Match Pro
Match Pro ranks ideas against your skills, industry, and stage preferences, shows why-fit reasons, and lets you save a shortlist in your browser (no account required for Phase 1). It is the product layer on top of the free catalog.
Editorial guides (process, not listicles)
